These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website located at https://bookpublishingforge.vercel.app (the "Site") and all related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing the Site or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or Services.
Our Services
Book Publishing Forge provides comprehensive author services including, but not limited to, ghostwriting, editing, proofreading, book design, formatting, publishing, marketing, audiobook production, and distribution consulting ("Publishing Services"). All Services are provided on a project-by-project basis as outlined in a separate Service Agreement.
Service Agreements and Payments
Quotes & Agreements
All Services begin with a custom quote. A formal Service Agreement detailing scope, timeline, deliverables, revisions, and payment terms will be provided for your approval before work commences.
Payment Terms
Specific payment schedules (e.g., deposit, milestone payments) will be outlined in your Service Agreement. All fees are due as specified. Late payments may result in a pause of Services.
Refunds
Due to the custom, time-intensive nature of our work, refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Once work has begun on a project phase (e.g., after outline approval for ghostwriting), fees for that phase are generally non-refundable.
Intellectual Property & Author Rights
Your Rights
You, the Author/Client, retain full copyright and ownership of the original concepts, materials, and final delivered work created as part of our Services, unless otherwise stated in a signed Service Agreement (e.g., for specific marketing materials we create).
Our Rights
Book Publishing Forge retains the right to display samples of completed work (e.g., book covers, formatted interiors) in our portfolio and for marketing purposes. We will never share confidential manuscript content without your express written permission.
Third-Party Materials
You are responsible for ensuring any materials you provide (text, images, etc.) do not infringe on any third-party copyrights. We are not liable for any infringement arising from materials you supply.
Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide clear, timely, and constructive feedback during revision rounds as outlined in your Service Agreement.
- Supply all necessary materials and information in a timely manner.
- Make payments according to the agreed schedule.
Limitation of Liability
Book Publishing Forge and its team will perform all Services with professional skill and care. However, we cannot guarantee specific sales, revenue, awards, or bestseller status as a result of our Services. Our total liability for any claim related to our Services is limited to the total fees paid by you for the specific project in question.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect changes. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
